He co-founded IU’s Heterodox Academy campus community and chairs the IU Votes initiative. Her research is in the areas of infectious disease surveillance\, public health informatics\, and emergency preparedness and response systems. She teaches Field Epidemiology to graduate students and directs UW’s student outbreak response team.
