The food is wonderful and the discussion brilliant. Casual and fun\, even if some people come in fancier clothing. \nMary Talley Bowden\, MD\, is a board-certified otolaryngologist (ear\, nose\, and throat specialist) and sleep medicine physician based in Houston\, Texas. She is best known for her independent direct-care practice\, advocacy for medical freedom\, and high-profile disputes with hospitals and medical authorities during the Covid-19 pandemic.  \nIn 2019\, she founded BreatheMD (also referred to as Bowden ENT)\, a direct-care (third-party-free) clinic in Houston focusing on sinus\, allergy\, sleep\, and airway issues with transparent pricing and holistic options. The practice emphasizes patient-first care without insurance\, hospital\, or government ties. She kept over 6\,000 Covid-19 patients out of the hospital through early treatment protocols.  \nSince then\, she has established herself in media appearances as a ferocious champion of freedom and rights\, and inspired many medical professionals to stand up to the intimidation by boards\, professional associations\, and institutions.
