She is currently a very vocal Consumer Representative on the FDA Advisory committee evaluating new drugs coming to market. \nButterfly is the venue (the real Chinese stuff) with friends of the Brownstone Institute. Come early for cocktails and meet Brownstone Institute friends\, scholars\, writers\, and benefactors\, and celebrate victories and discuss challenges ahead. The food is wonderful and the discussion brilliant. Casual and fun\, even if some people come in fancier clothing. \nThis month we are deeply honored to host Kim. She is making the long trip here to speak of the revolution taking place in pharmaceuticals. She shows how to connect the dots\, in this case\, between Washington\, the FDA\, Big Pharma\, Patient/Disease Awareness organizations\, and the healthcare system. Spoiler alert: follow the money.
