DESCRIPTION:SHARE | PRINT | EMAILPostponed to December 8 because of snow storm!\nRocco’s Restaurant and Bar\, 193 Main Street\, Wilmington\, MA \nTuesday\, December 2 (now Monday\, December 8)\n5:30pm – 9:00pm\nWilmington\, MA\n$50 \nPlease join us for an evening of lively conversation\, intriguing speakers\, and fun!  This month we are pleased to welcome Dr. Adam Urato. \nAbout Dr. Urato\nAdam is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist in his hometown of Framingham\, Massachusetts where has an active clinical practice taking care of high-risk pregnancies and delivering babies. He writes and lectures on medication exposures in pregnancy. Adam has taken a leading role in opposing ineffective drugs and harmful approaches to care in pregnancy including opposing Makena (an ineffective preterm birth drug which the FDA pulled off the market in 2023). He is currently petitioning the FDA to add a boxed warning to SSRIs regarding pregnancy risks. Adam is a strong supporter of freedom of speech and informed consent. \nAbout the Talk\nHow is it that pregnant women and the public routinely get treated with medications & vaccinations that turn out to be more harmful and less effective than originally thought?  This talk explores how the regulation and information systems in the US have failed\, what patients and the public can do to protect themselves\, and what changes are needed. \n  \nVenue\, Location & Parking\nRocco’s\, 193 Main Street\, Wilmington.
