We’re thrilled to feature Indiana State Treasurer Daniel Elliot at our July 14 Midwest Supper Club!
July 14 @ 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Treasurer Elliott will discuss his responsibilities in the role of State Treasurer. He will touch upon topics such as what is being done to prohibit Central Bank Digital Currency in our state, to ensure that Hoosiers’ personal data remains private, and to fight against banks that de-bank individuals based on their political actions and speech. Mr. Elliott will also discuss his work to protect Hoosier pensions from potentially risky ESG commitments.
About Treasurer Elliot:
Daniel Elliott was elected as the 56th Indiana State Treasurer on November 8th, 2022. In this role, Treasurer Elliott serves as the Chair of the Indiana Bond Bank, the Statewide E-911 Board, the Indiana Education Savings Authority, the ABLE Authority, and the Sole Trustee of the State Police Pension Trust, among several other positions. As the state’s chief investment officer, he oversees the management of over $13 billion on a daily basis.
Daniel Elliott brings 25 years of information technology experience as a software engineer, architect, and cybersecurity consultant to the State Treasurer’s office. He previously served on the Morgan County Council and as President of the Morgan County Redevelopment Commission, giving him firsthand knowledge of local government challenges.
A Nebraska native who now lives on a small farm in Morgan County with his wife Laura and four children, Elliott is a school-choice advocate and proponent of traditional Hoosier values. He graduated from Utah Valley University and is Indiana’s first elected Latter-Day Saint statewide officeholder. In his free time, he enjoys training horses and riding with his children.
