Joni Ruller McGary

Joni McGary co-founded No College Mandates and helped establish the organization's early structure and direction. She now focuses on independent advocacy projects in the areas of medical freedom, food freedom, and freedom of speech. Joni has a Food Science degree from Cornell University and has worked in research and development in the food industry, and business development in the pharmaceutical and bio-tech industries. She left her career in 2000 to become a full-time mother to three children. Once her children were grown, she founded and ran LuckyGuy Bakery, a brownie and cookie-bar mail-order company. Joni lives in Bloomington, IN where she hosts the monthly Brownstone Midwest Supper Club.
