Core guides for typography, color, and logo usage across the Brownstone Institute identity. Use this reference to keep every publication, page, and media asset consistent.
01 | Identity
Logo
The wordmark sets BROWNSTONE in Caslon small caps over a hairline rule, with INSTITUTE letterspaced beneath. Reproduce it from approved artwork only. Never retype, recolor, or redraw it.
Primary – Full Color – On Light Backgrounds
Reversed – All White – On Black & Dark Imagery
Monogram icon. The “BI” mark for avatars, favicons, and app tiles where the full wordmark won’t fit.
Clear space. Keep margin equal to the cap-height of the wordmark clear of other elements on all sides.
02 | Color
Palette
A disciplined, editorial palette built on a single rust hue, warm dark browns, and true black. Use rust for action and emphasis; reserve black for backgrounds and white for reversed type.
03 | Typography
Libre Caslon | Headline & Body
The Caslon family carries the brand voice: classical, authoritative, and editorial. Use it for all headlines and long-form body copy.

The reader who follows the unraveling of the Covid-19 origins coverup may be aware that I observed the DEFUSE proposal while a military fellow at DARPA and reported it to investigating authorities.
Time and FOIA records have publicly revealed why the DEFUSE documents were placed where I observed them — but not why they went unreported.
