Please join us for an evening of warm community, lively conversation and great food and drink! This month we are pleased to welcome Dr. Allon Friedman, Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. He’ll give a talk titled “The Broken State of Medicine and What we Must do to Fix it”.

About the talk:
Dr. Friedman will share his views on the unintended consequences of DEI ideology on medical education and practice, the erosion of merit-based standards in physician training, and the loss of physician autonomy to massive corporate healthcare systems. He’ll address the silence among his colleagues regarding COVID lockdowns and mandates and describe the personal cost of speaking up in an environment that discourages it. He’ll suggest ways to reform what is happening now so that we can reclaim a medical system that works.

About Dr. Allon Friedman:
Allon N. Friedman, MD, is board certified in nephrology, internal medicine and nutrition. He is a general nephrologist with an interest and expertise in nutrition including the management of obesity in people with kidney disease.

Dr. Friedman earned his medical degree from McGill University Faculty of Medicine. He also completed an internship, residency and two fellowships at Tufts University Faculty of Medicine-New England Medical Center.
