David Souto Alcalde

David Souto Alcalde (Ph.D. New York University) is a writer and has been a professor of early modern culture at several American universities. He is specialized in the history of republicanism and in the relations between politics, philosophy and literature. In recent years he has written extensively in different media such as Vozpópuli, The Objective or Diario 16 about the foundations of contemporary authoritarianism: technocracy, posthumanism and globalism. He is a founding member of Brownstone Spain, where he writes weekly.
