About Delia
Delia McCabe holds a master’s in clinical psychology, a PhD in Neuroscience, and has spent over two decades delving into the intricate relationship between brain development, function, cognition and nutrition. Her most recent work applies her knowledge to behavioural change and the intersection of technology and ourselves. Delia’s offerings draw from embodiment, the neuroscience of creativity and decision-making, and explore how we are impacted by the use of technology.
About the Talk
We live in a world immersed in technology. Artificial intelligence is increasingly being used in a variety of ways – such as to individualize algorithms, create content, ‘educate’ our youth and provide access to more information than we know what to do with. But, does interacting with ‘smart-tech’ impact our sensitive and sophisticated brain in ways we’ve not yet become aware of? Or is it simply another step on the road to human progress? Could the wonder of human creativity and reasoning be under threat? Join us to find out what the three main threats are and why we’re all vulnerable to technology’s marvels.
