Please join us for the inaugural Brownstone Supper Club in Austin as it promises to be an evening of lively conversation, new and old connections, and the start of a community with shared values, interests and passions.
To kick off our supper club we are pleased to welcome Jackie Schlegel, Founder and Executive Director of Texans for Medical Freedom.
About Jackie
Over the past ten years, Jackie Schlegel has become one of Texas’s most influential advocates for medical freedom. As Founder and Executive Director of Texans for Medical Freedom, she has built strong coalitions among legislators and community leaders to advance policies that protect parental rights, informed consent, and medical privacy. In 2021, Jackie helped pass a bipartisan medical protection bill and a statewide ban on vaccine passports, signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott. Her success in relationship-building laid the foundation for the 2025 legislative session—where Texans for Medical Freedom passed five of its eight priority bills, marking a historic victory for medical freedom in Texas.
About the Talk
Jackie will share insights from the 2025 legislative session—the challenges faced, key wins for parental rights and informed consent, and what’s ahead for Texas and the nation as the movement for health freedom continues to grow.
