Dr. Mary Kelly Sutton received her medical degree in 1971, as well as boards in Internal Medicine, and additional training in Pediatrics. She is a founding member of the American Holistic Medical Association and trained in Anthroposophic Medicine. Practicing in California during SB277, she wrote medical exemptions for school vaccines: Her license was subsequently revoked despite no patient complaints and no patient injury. Dr. Mark Brody, C.C.H, trained as an M.D. at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons (1986). He gave up his medical license voluntarily in 2021 under pressure from the Rhode Island Dept. of Health due to his supporting informed consent for his patients around the Covid-19 vaccine. Dr. Brody has a longstanding interest in systemic healthcare reform. He continues to practice in Rhode Island as an Integrative Healthcare Practitioner under the Health Freedom Act: https://www.dynamispreventivemedicine.com
Attorney Ilya Feoktistov represents Drs. Sutton, Brody, and two other physicians. He practices in Massachusetts, where has devoted the past five years to representing local victims of civil rights violations during the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He has successfully defended COVID-19 lockdown and vaccine protesters from serious criminal charges brought by politicized Massachusetts prosecutors. Attorney Feoktistov graduated from the Boston University School of Law and has an undergraduate degree in molecular biology and biochemistry from Dartmouth College. He is a contributing author for The Federalist.
About the Talk
The Physician’s First Amendment Right to Provide a Second Opinion
A federal First Amendment lawsuit, Sutton v. Federation of State Medical Boards, was filed in the Northern District of Texas by four physicians against six state medical boards and a powerful national organization that is silencing scientific dissent among the nation’s doctors from Texas to Massachusetts. Mary, Mark and Ilya will discuss state medical board efforts to punish physicians for stating opinions on medical and health-related topics that deviate from the established medical consensus.
