Brownstone Supper Club Philadelphia! Thursday, May 1, 2025 – Brad Kershner
May 1 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm $50.00
Join us at our next Philadelphia Supper Club on May 1, 2025! We welcome Dr. Brad Kershner, Head of School at Kimberton Waldorf School and an independent scholar. Brad is the co-founder of a meta-political think tank – The Reconstitution Project – and the author of two books. In addition to his work in education, Brad collaborates with thought leaders and religious teachers from around the world in developing wisdom-based responses to planetary problems. You can follow his work at integratedemergence.substack.com.
Brad will be speaking to us about: “Live Free or AI: Coming to Terms with TechnoFeudalism.”
Amidst an abundance of hype and hysteria about AI, it is challenging to determine what to be excited about, what to be scared about, and what to be skeptical about. This talk will explore some key ideas related to the evolution of technology, with a focus on understanding what it means to be living in a world that is characterized by the totalizing ideology of TechnoFeudalism.
Our venue, the festive Las Bugambilias in Philadelphia’s famous Old City district, offers a buffet of all-you-can-consume Mexican food, margaritas, beer, and wine — all included. Join us for a night of eating and drinking, meet Brownstone Institute friends, scholars, writers, and benefactors, and celebrate victories and discuss challenges ahead. Dress is whatever makes you happy — casual is great, fancy is also wonderful.
