C.S. Lewis wrote about this phenomenon (as Chronological Snobbery) that has become hardened in today’s elite academic world. It’s the fallacy that whatever science came before modern “discoveries” was faulty, naive, and suspect. But everything researchers say, believe, or divine TODAY is indisputable fact. Coupled with speech laws banning misinformation, it allows a small, self-interested group of so-called scientists to dictate “truth.” It is regressive.
