It Was Politics that Drove the Science

SHARE | PRINT | EMAIL

Politically driven science at the CDC and other government health agencies was not limited to mask studies. Risks of severe or long COVID and benefits of COVID vaccines in children and healthy adults were also greatly exaggerated. Worst of all, basic tenets of immunology (e.g. infection-acquired immunity) were denied. Immunologists were expected to go along with it. Many did.

Alien and Sedition Acts

The Alien and Sedition Acts are Back

SHARE | PRINT | EMAIL

With the Alien and Sedition Acts, not-yet-Presidents Thomas Jefferson (an icon of freedom, having been the primary author of the Declaration of Independence) and James Madison (an icon of a strong but restricted Federal government, having been the primary author of the Constitution) both suggested the individual states nullify the Acts within those individual states. HB1333 has the potential to codify what frightened Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.

The War on Humanity Continues

SHARE | PRINT | EMAIL

As I walked around an unadorned neighborhood that should have been full of Halloween symbols in that late October season, I began to rage inwardly at the realization that so many parents genuinely believed they were protecting their children when they deprived them of a public celebration, however innocuous.

The Problem of Lost Knowledge: Antibiotic Edition

SHARE | PRINT | EMAIL

All of this adds up to a grim picture of mass but often preventable deaths, all because the system did not work to incorporate the previously existing wisdom we learned from a century earlier. We needed merely to rely on the known information gathered from previous periods of history. The system utterly failed and for reasons having to do with regulatory capture and mass panic. Instead, they embarked on a population-wide experiment that created an unfathomable amount of suffering. And they still haven’t admitted it.

Justice Jackson, the Biden Administration, Katie Starbird, and their allies in the media may believe they have a divine mission to censor alleged misinformation, that the Devil’s reincarnation has taken multiple forms in the bodies of RFK Jr., Alex Berenson, Jay Bhattacharya, and others; under our Constitution, however, the self-professed nobility of their missions does not excuse violations of the First Amendment. Let us hope the Court realizes the graveness of the threat.

The “Best Available Science”: The CDC and the Vaccine Travel Mandate

SHARE | PRINT | EMAIL

Continuing to exclude unvaccinated noncitizens, non-immigrants from entering the United States is a policy that puts politics over science. Politicians claiming the opposite to be true are funded by the very industries that benefit most from continuing with such a policy. Their pushback against ending the mandate is justified by their faith in the “best available science” yet that science cannot be produced by the very institution on whom the continuation of the mandate rests.

Clean vs. Dirty: A Way to Understand Everything

SHARE | PRINT | EMAIL

The clean vs. dirty distinction was once an indicator of class, perhaps a desiderata of germaphobic pathology, even a harmless eccentricity. But in 2020, the obsession became extreme, an aesthetic priority that overrode all morality and truth. It then became a fundamental threat to liberty, self-government, and human rights.Today this demarcation has invaded the whole of our lives, and it threatens to create a horrifying caste system consisting of those who enjoy rights and privileges vs those who do not and serve (at a distance) the elites.

The Game Is Rigged Against Small Business

Locally, a microbrewery failed; the owners talked to the newspaper about bad timing. A pizza parlor closed. A cafe was closed for two years. A well known, well-respected family physician sent out a letter to his patients that he couldn’t afford the forced COVID accommodations and shut down his practice. A one-of-a-kind multi-million dollar surplus store decided to sell everything and close rather than sell to another generation.

The Covid Cult’s Attack on Science and Society

SHARE | PRINT | EMAIL

There will always be a new variant, there will always be a new mandate, and there will always be the new carrot dangling on the stick in front of your face (like the booster jab) only to be pulled away again. You can acquiesce to this conditioning and reorganize your entire life around the principle of avoiding this one pathogen while giving up all expectations of freedom. Or you can resist the propaganda, get informed, and join with those who are working to rebuild after the disaster of the last year and a half.

The CDC Failed, So Spin It Off and Make It More Powerful?

SHARE | PRINT | EMAIL

Don’t be fooled by any appearance of contrition on the part of the CDC. They still have a legal appeal in process that would put a mask back on your face when traveling. The new agency to which its pandemic responsibilities will be transferred will have a 1,000-person staff to start, people paid the big bucks to sit around coming up with new ways to whip up disease panic and start another crackdown.
