Law

Law articles offer sharp analysis and commentary on legal issues tied to censorship, policy, technology, media, economics, public health, social life, and individual rights — critiquing overreach, institutional failures, and threats to liberty.

We examine key topics like government lawfare, weaponized regulations, constitutional challenges, public health mandates, vaccine liability, institutional corruption, free speech defenses, and reforms to restore justice, accountability, and personal freedoms.

All law articles from Brownstone Institute are translated into multiple languages to reach global readers, spark international dialogue on legal rights, and support challenges to centralized power.

Louisiana Repeals Shot Mandate for Schools

It took a huge effort on the part of AG Jeff Landry, who never gave up. Louisiana for Medical Freedom and Representative Kathy Edmonston who has continued in this fight to stop the mandates and frankly, so many of us. Children’s Health Defense and Robert F Kennedy, Jr. who has also been there working behind the scenes to make this happen.

No Holy Communion for the Sick, They Said

When a person is dying or in danger of death, this is the moment when their religion is most dear to them. It is not within the hospital’s jurisdiction to decide when you can or can’t confess your sins, receive Holy Communion and prepare to meet your maker. This abhorrent practice of refusing entrance to clergy must stop now.

Judge Orders Fauci to Cough It Up

Maimonides on the Liberty of the People

In these times, when calls for crisis government and more emergency powers for the administrative state seem to grow louder by the day, the legislators in Congress — the people’s representatives and trustees — ought to pause, look around the Capitol, and consider the long tradition of freedom and dignity that is our inheritance and could still be their legacy.

Moderna and Pfizer: Cat Fight!

SHARE | PRINT | EMAIL

There is absolutely no theory of political economy in existence that could possibly justify this combination of 1) private company with vast tax funding, 2) government-enforced monopoly claims of ownership, 3) indemnification against damage claims, 4) publicly-traded stocks, plus and 5) a forced customer base. And to top it all off, it’s not even clear that the product worked; it certainly did not live up to the wild claims from top government officials.

This illegal quarantine regulation allowed for endless possibilities of abuse because there were no due process protections built in to safeguard against government abuse. Once targeted by the DOH, you would have no recourse whatsoever.
